• City Activation Team | SunCentral Maroochydore

Part of the City Activation Team, my current role involves venue management of the MET temporary activation precinct as well as supporting, marketing and producing a range of creative placemaking initiatives as part of a wider activation strategy for the new Maroochydore City Centre.

  • Takeover Project | Old Ambulance Station

The Takeover Project is an initiative developed during my time on the Board of the Old Ambulance Station. Funded by ArtsCoast, I was responsible for the ideation of the program, procurement of initial funding, securing three year funding through the Creative Industries Investment Program and producing the first year of the program. Designed to give control of artistic spaces back to artists, the paid residency opportunities in the Black Box Theatre, The Galleries and The Old Ambo RAMP allow creatives to play and experiment with an idea or a creative process leading to at least one public outcome.

  • The Bunker Spoken Word

The Bunker Spoken Word is a collective passionate about poetry, performance and the spoken word. Run by Tim Loydell and Toni Wills since 2018, The Bunker hosted poetry events, workshops and produced spoken word theatre. In that time, The Bunker gained a national reputation of outstanding quality working with artists such as Joelle Taylor (UK), Dominic Hoey (NZ), Anthony Anaxagorou (UK) and Hollie McNish (UK) to name a few.

In response to COVID-19, a new initiative, Isolating in the Bunker – a video series for the now – was launched. Selecting brand new video content through a submission process, the video work is hosted on our website. This project helped support artists to continue to make and present new work during the recent period of lockdown restrictions.

The Bunker premiered its first spoken word theatre production, How to Spell Love, with poet Anisa Nandaula, at Metro Arts for Brisbane Festival in September 2020. A three channel video installation has been created from this work and is available for touring.

More information can be found on Facebook and Instagram or via our website.

The Bunker Spoken Word is currently taking a break from events.

  • Anywhere Festival | Sunshine Coast and Noosa

Anywhere Festival celebrates performance anywhere BUT a theatre.

Founded in Brisbane in 2011, the festival continues to grow in size and strength to bring the extraordinary world of performance into everyday spaces.

In 2017, the festival came to Noosa and the Sunshine Coast and grew year on year, somehow still delivering a program (over six months) during a COVID affected 2020.

As Creative Producer for six years, I programmed and successfully delivered a full regional program between 2017 and 2022. I stepped down from the role in June 2022 to take on other projects.

In 2023, Anywhere Festival continued in Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region.
